Growing up in a fairly liberal (or at the very least, open-minded) community has given us the benefit of having accurate information at our fingertips, in regards to the human body. However, in today’s political and economic climate, many are also becoming painfully aware of the financial burden that comes with health care, whether someone is worrying over not having it or worrying over a service not being covered. This is especially an issue when the subject of pregnancy and family planning is brought into consideration. With many people unable to afford health care, they are missing out on crucial information and resources for their own reproductive health, which is just as important as any other aspect of personal, physical and emotional well-being. This site was constructed to inform people, privileged or not, on their options as responsible, sexually active adults and the consequences that may come with their actions. We have made it a point not to omit or sugarcoat any facts and have included the political disagreements that come with the topic of family planning and reproductive rights, so that anyone who views it may learn the full scope of the issue and make an informed decision based on what is best for them.
